The registration fee includes:

CANCELLATION POLICY, REFUND OPTIONS & BIB TRANSFERS
REFUND CANCELLATION
If a participant is unable to attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances, the refund policy is as follows:

Once the participant’s identity and information are confirmed, refunds will be processed sequentially. Refund applicants forfeit their right to participate and will not be allowed to collect race-related materials.
Steps to request CANCELLATION AND REFUND:
▲ Step 1: Complete the form with all required information
▲ Step 2: Once we receive your form, we’ll process the cancellation and corresponding refund. This will be done within 1 to 15 days of receiving your request. The date your form is submitted will determine your applicable refund.
▲ Step 3: You will receive a confirmation email verifying the cancellation of your registration and the amount to be refunded based on your cancellation date.
Important:
Each person requesting a cancellation and refund must complete the form individually with their personal information.
Refund method:
The refund will be issued to the same account associated with the credit/debit card used at registration. Once confirmed, the funds will arrive within 1 to 4 business days.
CANCELLATION WITH DEFERRAL
BIB TRANSFER TO NEXT EDITION
If a participant is unable to race due to unavoidable circumstances (injury, serious family issue, work commitment…), they may request to defer their entry to the following edition. Below are the rules and procedures.
Request Deadline, Requirements and Fees
Deferral requests are accepted until February 23, 2026. From February 24 onward, no deferrals will be accepted.
Accepted reasons: Work travel, injuries, family issues, pregnancy, serious personal matters. Participants must submit supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate).
Steps to request DEFERRAL to the next GT edition:
▲ Step 1: Complete the form with all required information
▲ Step 2: Once we receive the form, we will process your cancellation. This will happen within 1 to 15 days. The refund eligibility will be based on your form submission date.
▲ Step 3: Once validated, we will cancel your current registration and place you on a list to receive a PERSONAL AND NON-TRANSFERABLE LINK to register for the next edition of GALATZÓ TRAIL at no cost.
▲ Step 4: Once the current edition is complete, we will email you your registration link for the following year along with instructions.
Important:
Transferring your registration to the next edition automatically cancels your entry for the current year.
- The deferral is ONLY valid for the same event (GALATZÓ TRAIL) and race you were originally registered for, to the next edition.
- The deferral is subject to the following conditions:
- Valid only for the same distance and category as the original registration.
- No refund will be issued later for any new cancellation.
- No further deferrals will be allowed.
- Name changes are not permitted on deferred registrations.
BIB OWNERSHIP CHANGES
Bibs are personal and non-transferable. Running with someone else’s bib is not allowed. This poses a serious risk, as the new runner will not be covered (safety, medical assistance, etc.) during the event.
If a participant wishes to transfer their bib to another person, they may do so as long as the following conditions are met:
- The request must be made before January 31, 2026
- Bib ownership changes are only allowed until January 31, 2026. From February 1, 2026, no further changes will be accepted.

- The request must include:
- Subject: “BIB TRANSFER GT26”
- Body of the message: your full name, surname, email, ID or passport number, and phone number, as well as the full name, surname, email, ID or passport number, and phone number of the new participant.

Under no circumstances does a cancellation entitle the original participant to choose who takes over their slot.
DISTANCE CHANGES (BETWEEN RACES)
Distance changes are allowed, as long as there are bibs available for the desired race, according to the terms described in the registration section.
Changing from a longer to a shorter distance (Legend → Half, Half → Explorer…)
If the participant wishes to switch from a longer race (Galatzó Legend) to a shorter one (Galatzó Half), the organization will not refund the price difference, nor will any additional handling fee be charged.

If the participant wishes to switch from a shorter race (Galatzó Half) to a longer one (Galatzó Legend), they will have to pay the difference between the original fee and the current cost of the new distance. No additional fee will be charged for the change.
How to request a distance change
To request a distance change, please send an email to eventsice@calvia.com including your registration reference, full name, and the new distance you wish to switch to.
